Former Gambino crime family boss John A. (Junior) Gotti was stabbed during a mysterious dispute in Long Island on Sunday, the Daily News has learned.
Gotti, the son of late "Dapper Don" John Gotti, told investigators he was stabbed in the stomach while trying to break up a fight between two strangers in the parking lot of a CVS in Syosset, a law enforcement source said.

Gotti’s lawyer, Charles Carnesi, said he had not heard about the attack.
Management at the CVS in Syosset declined to comment.
Gotti has said he quit the mob in 1999, after deciding he’d had enough of being gangster and wanted to focus on being a father.
Carnesi said his client is managing real estate properties he owns in Long Island.
