Police say they made a massive drug bust after a routine traffic stop in Brooklyn early Saturday morning.
Police say they pulled over 25-year-old Brian Espinal along Bushwick Avenue at around 3 a.m. Saturday for driving with a defective tail light.
Officers say they smelled marijuana in the car and recognized Espinal from an open warrant.
When they searched his vehicle, police say they found 26 zip-close bags of cocaine and two zip-close bags of marijuana in his sweatshirt pocket, and 10 kilos of cocaine and more than $8,000 in cash in the trunk.
Espinal is charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, marijuana possession and operating a vehicle without signal lights.
