Three men in Brooklyn were killed Thursday night on Halloween and two others were injured in a shooting spree that began 7 p.m.
A killer in a Ghostface mask as one of the trigger-happy gunmen who murdered three men in Brooklyn and wounded two others in Queens during a spree of Halloween violence, police sources said Friday.
The masked man blasted away at 19-year-old Anthony Seaberry on E. 31st St. near Cortelyou Road in Farragut about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, hitting the doomed man in the head.
Seaberry was rushed to Kings County Hospital, but doctors were unable to save him.
The killer escaped.
The Halloween havoc began earlier, at 7 p.m., when a gunman shot and killed Shawn Rhodes, 46, in his 2002 Chrysler Voyager on Wortman Ave. in East New York, cops said.
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said the gunman fired at least five times. A 9-mm. pistol was found in Rhodes' lap.
"That may be the murder weapon," Kelly said.
Rhodes died at Brookdale University Hospital, officials said.
Later, 37-year-old Kevin Thompson was fatally shot just before 11:30 p.m. at Park Place and Saratoga Ave. in Brownsville. He was pronounced dead at Brookdale.
Cops described the suspect they were hunting as a black man in a camouflage jacket, ski cap and yellow boots.
In the Queens incidents, a man was shot in the torso along 148th St. in Jamaica about 7 p.m. and a man was shot on Beach Channel Drive and Rockaway Beach Blvd. in Rockaway Beach at 8:12 p.m., cops said. Neither victim was seriously injured, officials said.
