Cops hunt for Brooklyn Boy taken by father who is not supposed to have contact with child
Edwin Rodriguez Jr., 6, was taken by his father, Edwin Rodriguez Sr., from the boy's grandmother's Williamsburg home. Police are currently searching for the boy and said that it did not appear that the boy intended to harm the child.

The missing boy is described as approximately 4'8", 65 Lbs, with brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, and blue jeans.
A 6-year-old Brooklyn boy has been missing since Thursday, when he was taken from his grandmother’s Williamsburg home by his father, who is not supposed to have contact with the child, police said.
Edwin Rodriguez Jr. was last seen leaving his grandmother’s apartment on Ten Eyck Walk in the Williamsburg Houses with his father, Edwin Rodriguez Sr., at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Police said the boy’s grandmother, who is his legal guardian, had been allowing the boy’s father to live in the apartment, although he was not supposed to see the child without the supervision of Administration for Children’s Services workers, police said.
The missing boy was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans when he was last seen. His father is described as 5-feet-4 and 145 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair. Police said it did not appear that the father intended to harm the child.
