CHICAGO — Chief Keef, Chicago's rap phenom who makes no secret of his weed-smoking in his lyrics and social media posts, was in Cook County Jail's Cermak Hospital drug rehab Tuesday night, beginning a 20-day sentence for failing a court-ordered random test for marijuana.
The 18-year-old South Side rapper, a $6 million man thanks to Interscope Records, turned himself in at the Skokie Courthouse Tuesday morning, but not before letting fans know via Instagram.
“Walking in Court See y’all asses Later!
“Love All My Fans With Out y’all I Wouldn’t Get Far #FinallyRich,” he wrote.
