Banksy unfazed by NYPD threats, reveals latest piece

Banksy’s got no time for the NYPD.
“I don’t read what I believe in the papers,” the elusive graffiti guru said Thursday on his website, where he posted a shot of The Post’s “Get Banksy!” front page.
Banksy was likely too busy toasting his latest tag – on a Williamsburg, Brooklyn wall – and directing his massive Ronald McDonald sculpture to its lunchtime location to worry about police efforts to catch him in the act.
Law enforcement sources have told The Post Banksy will be charged with vandalism if he’s found scribbling his stencils on city walls.
But so far he’s managed to avoid detection as he’s adorned more than a dozen city surfaces with his creations this month.
Mayor Bloomberg says Banksy is a vandal, not an artist.
“You running up to somebody’s property or public property and defacing it is not my definition of art,” he said Wednesday.
Graffiti, Hizzoner said, is “a sign of decay and loss of control” and “should not be permitted.”
The Brit-born Banksy said on his website that his newest stencil, of two women in kimonos on a bridge, is in Bed-Stuy, but it’s actually over the border, in Williamsburg
