Banksy bounced back Thursday, splashing his latest graffiti on the side of a West Side jiggle joint.
The British street artist struck a roll-down security gate at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in Hell’s Kitchen after drawing a blank on Wednesday when “police activity” interrupted his month-long New York City residency.
The newest work shows a lovelorn loser slouched in a corner, clutching a fast-fading bouquet of flowers with their red petals fluttering to the ground.
“Waiting in vain…at the door of the club,” say the captions under two pictures of the piece on Banksy’s Web site.
