DJ Khaled denies reports that Nicki Minaj filed a restraining order after his marriage proposal

DJ Khaled denies reports that Nicki Minaj filed a restraining order after his marriage proposal

The Terror Squad producer insists his proposal was sincere, even though he hasn’t heard back from the ‘Super Bass’ singer.

The record producer says he hasn’t heard from Minaj about his proposal, but he also hasn’t heard from the police about any restraining order either - contrary to reports, Khaled said Sunday.

The record producer says he hasn’t heard from Minaj about his proposal, but he also hasn’t heard from the police about any restraining order either, contrary to reports, Khaled said Sunday.

Though Nicki Minaj hasn't responded to DJ Khaled's request for her hand in marriage, the rapper says new reports that she filed a restraining order against him are not true.
"Y'all know better than that they don't put restraining orders on bosses," Khaled, 37, tweeted on Sunday.
The New York Police Department also confirmed to gossip website HollywoodLife.com that no legal action has been taken against the hit producer from Minaj's camp.
Khaled's seemingly random proposal on Thursday - in which the musician appeared on MTV News to ask his Cash Money label mate to be his wife - left everyone wondering whether it was all a publicity stunt.
"Nicki Minaj, I'm at MTV," he began. "I love you. I like you. I want you to be mine."
