LACEY — A 31-year-old woman was arrested last week after police say she used racial slurs against a fellow passenger during an argument on a New Jersey Transit bus.
Jamie Pfeiffer, 31, of Barnegat was taken into custody by Lacey police just after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday after they were notified of a verbal altercation on a bus that had stopped along Route 9 near Beach Boulevard in the Forked River section of town.
Police say Pfeiffer, who is charged with bias intimidation and harassment, offended an African-American man while she quarreled with the bus driver and him.
She was released without bail.
