A man is in the hospital after being shot by police in Brooklyn.
It happened on Hart Street near Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant Saturday afternoon.
Police say officers were near a school yard when they saw two men run past them, being chased by a third man with a gun.
According to police, officers told that man to drop the gun, but he turned around and pointed it at them.
That's when one of the officers opened fire, hitting the man in the leg.
"There was one shot at first, and then three more after that," said one person at the scene. "I was like, 'That's not real' at first. Like right outside my window, what's happening? Then I go to the window to look, and people are just scrambling everywhere. So I was a little scared at first."
No one else was hurt.
