Bruce Cutler apparently got into it with a diner at an adjacent table about 9 p.m. Thursday.

In-your-face mob attorney Bruce Cutler socked a fellow patron in the kisser at a Manhattan steakhouse and ended up under arrest, police sources said Friday.
Cutler, 65, was busted Thursday night after allegedly punching a 38-year-old man at pricey Porter House in Columbus Circle.
Cutler, best known as the mouthpiece of Gambino boss John Gotti, was charged with misdemeanor assault, issued a desk appearance ticket and released.

Sources said the fisticuffs erupted after suspect and victim, sitting at adjacent tables, started jawing with each other about 9 p.m.
Cutler, who once famously threw a Gotti indictment into a garbage can in court, then went beyond words.

"Cutler stands up, walks over to the table and punches the guy right in the face,'' one source said. "Big shiner."

Police were called and Cutler was busted.
The barrel-chested lawyer won three acquittals for Gotti, earning his client his "Teflon Don" nickname.
More recently, Cutler represented music producer Phil Spector before the two parted ways deep into Spector's murder trial over what the legal eagle called a "difference of opinion" regarding strategy.
Spector was later convicted and sentenced to 19 years in prison.
