The Movie was an absolute failure because Hollywood is more interested in re-writing history than actaully telling the God Damned story. If Hollywood had done so it would have made a fine film. Huey P.Long then Senator was killed By Dr. Carl Weiss for "Outing" the good Doctors family as Black people passing for white. Which at the time brought unbearable shame to any family tainted with such a horrific allegation. Senator Long had also infuriated very powerful Politicians including President Roosevelt who's wife was an open Lesbian. Dr. Carl Weiss didn't even Kill Senator Long, only punching him in the mouth allowing the Senator to be shot by a 45, and 38 Calibre Gun, while The good Doctor only owned a 32 calibre handgun wich was recovered and tested 50 years later. Until America faces it's internal problems it will contiue to deteriorate and finaly collapse as did the Roman Empire.
